Our
"Why"

"At Waterwell, our mission is to nourish the body, mind, and spirit through the fundamental necessities of life: nature, nutrition, and community. We believe in empowering individuals, particularly those affected by breast cancer, to prioritize their health and wellness journey."
                                                 - Robin Maynard-Harris (Founder)

After a diagnosis of breast cancer, women tend to re-evaluate their nutrition and health. It has been shown that a plant based diet can reduce the risk of recurrence by up to 24% in some cases. At Waterwell women will be educated on growing their own food. Participate in our Pink Ribbon Garden project and leave with their own hydroponic gardening system.

Growing Together

Waterwell places emphasis on feeling your best. We believe that true beauty starts with health and wellness. It is best achieved when our bodies, minds, and spirits are equally cared for and valued. We water these roots through sharing, yoga, art and time for reflection and gratitude.

Holistic care

Hooked on Hope

Fishing and being on the water are considered to be in the top 3 stress reducers. Fishing is all encompassing as an exercise event, an escapist activity, an opportunity for thoughtful reflection, and an avenue for stirring accomplishment all rolled into one.

Life Source

The water in our bodies is essential for life. Without water, we can't survive. 60% of our bodies are made up of water. All tenants of Waterwell involve water including our aquaponics farm where our tilapia swim and provide nutrients to the plants. Water is needed for homeostasis in all facets of life.
